Six detonators were found in a field near Cologne
Near Cologne, Germany, investigators discovered six detonators in a field. They were found following an investigation into a suspected sabotage attempt at a substation in Bergheim.
Michael Esser, head of the criminal police, stated that these devices were likely intended to launch a wire over power lines using pyrotechnics.
Earlier, Herbert Roeil, the Interior Minister of North Rhine-Westphalia, expressed suspicion of “unconstitutional sabotage” in connection with the incident at the substation. He did not rule out either “sabotage by a foreign state” or left-wing extremism.

As a reminder, Ukraine and Germany will expand their joint weapons production.
At this time, other countries have not made any specific commitments regarding the transfer of additional air defense systems or missiles to Ukraine. This was stated by German Foreign Minister Johann Wadepuhl following a trip to Kharkiv. According to him, requests from partners are at least not being rejected, but there are no concrete agreements yet.
