Three members of the same family died off the coast of England
A man, a woman, and a teenage girl died near the town of Shorham-by-Sea in West Sussex. A younger girl from the same family was taken to the hospital in critical condition, Sussex Police reported.
According to law enforcement, all four entered the water from the shore to go swimming but later got into trouble. Emergency services received a report at around 2:40 p.m. about four people in distress at sea. All of the victims were brought ashore.

Sussex Police Chief Superintendent James Collis stated that the Coast Guard conducted an extensive search of the water and is no longer searching for anyone else. The family members have already been informed of the incident.
Two helicopters and a critical care medical team from the Kent Surrey Sussex Air Ambulance charity were deployed in the rescue operation. A lifeboat from the Royal National Lifeboat Institution in Shoreham was called out at 3:00 p.m. A local resident told Sky News that the sea was very rough and the wind was strong. Due to the incident, the A259 Brighton Road was closed in both directions between New Road and Kingston Lane. Tom Rutland, the Member of Parliament for Shoreham, expressed his condolences to the families of the victims and thanked the emergency services for their work under difficult conditions, according to The Guardian.
