Participants from 47 countries arrive in Yekaterinburg for youth festival

Participants in the International Youth Festival from 47 countries have arrived in Yekaterinburg, Russia, an aggressor state. In total, representatives of 191 countries have confirmed their participation in the event, MyJoyOnline reports, citing the organizers.

Arrival of delegations

Grigory Gurov, head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, announced the arrival of the first delegations at a press conference dedicated to the festival's opening and program. According to him, participants have already arrived from Australia, Algeria, Brazil, Indonesia, Mongolia, Korea, Serbia and the Seychelles.

Gurov also reported the arrival of participants from Italy, Luxembourg, Slovakia, Finland, France and Switzerland. In addition, individual representatives from Canada and the United States have arrived in Yekaterinburg.

Festival program

According to Gurov, the arrival of all participants was expected on September 11 and 12. They are welcomed at the airport and railway station with bread and salt and flowers.

The festival is intended to bring together 10,000 young leaders from 191 countries: 5,000 participants from Russia and another 5,000 from other countries. The program will also include 1,000 teenagers aged 14 to 17. The event will be held under the slogan “Follow Your Dream,” and around 1,500 participants celebrating their birthdays are planned to be congratulated during the festival.
