J.D. Vance stated that Russia is incapable of achieving success on the battlefield
Russia currently finds itself in a situation where, due to its offensive operations, it can achieve virtually nothing on the battlefield. This was stated by U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance.
He noted that, at the same time, Ukraine’s successes are helping to create the conditions necessary to end the war. The politician emphasized that Ukrainians should focus as much as possible on defense, since this approach has yielded far greater results, while the Russians are paying dearly for every square meter.
Recalling the summer of 2023, J.D. Vance called the large-scale counteroffensive at that time—which the entire Western world, including Biden, had been pushing for—a strategic and tactical disaster.
