Fire Point is building a rocket fuel production plant in Denmark
The Ukrainian defense company Fire Point is expanding its production capacity abroad. Its Danish subsidiary is building a facility to manufacture solid rocket propellant.
The project is being carried out by Fire Point Rocket Technologies, which operates as the Danish subsidiary of the Ukrainian manufacturer. Initially, the construction cost was estimated at approximately 50 million euros, but the budget has since increased significantly. It now exceeds 150 million euros.
The company has already obtained the necessary permits to carry out the project. According to Fire Point’s Chief Operating Officer, Vyacheslav Bondarchuk, the facility will have significant production capacity. It is planned to be used not only to meet Fire Point’s own needs but also for potential supplies to other manufacturers.
“We intend to open a plant here with enormous capacity to produce large quantities of solid rocket fuel—initially for Fire Point, but also to be able to supply other companies,” Bondarchuk noted.
The company’s CEO and CTO, Iryna Terekh, emphasized that Ukraine’s defense capabilities should not be assessed solely by the number of missiles produced.
“We don’t measure by missiles—number nine or number seven. We have to measure by capabilities,” she explained.

Fire Point announced the timeline for the anti-ballistic interceptor’s readiness.
Serhiy Shtilerman, co-owner and chief designer of the Ukrainian company Fire Point, posted a photo of the launch of an unidentified missile on July 29, but did not disclose any details about the footage.
As a reminder, on Monday, July 28, Fire Point reported that Ukrainian FP-1 drones struck a warehouse belonging to the Russian logistics operator 3PL in the village of Koledino.
