Lithuania has called for Ukraine to be admitted to the EU by 2030
Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys called on allies to support Ukraine’s full membership in the European Union by 2030 following yet another Russian attack.

All the Russians are doing right now is continuing to kill Ukraine’s civilian population.
Against this backdrop, he reiterated how important it is to do everything possible to strengthen Ukraine’s air defense, as well as to increase military, energy, and financial support for Kyiv.
Budris believes that strong sanctions pressure on Russia’s war machine can indeed stop it.
“We must also fully integrate Ukraine into Euro-Atlantic and European structures, starting with full EU membership by 2030. Ukraine’s place is in the European family, and its path toward European and Euro-Atlantic integration must remain our strategic priority,” the Lithuanian foreign minister emphasized.
