Two men suspected of espionage in Finland
In Finland, the National Bureau of Investigation (KRP) suspects two men aged 37 and 40 of espionage. As YLE News reports, citing Ilta-Sanomat, the Helsinki District Court will hear the cases concerning the suspects’ detention on Wednesday.
Information about the suspects
According to the publication, the men were born in 1986 and 1988. According to court data, the crimes of which they are suspected likely occurred between August 30 and September 12.

The location of the alleged espionage is currently unknown. The men have the same surname; however, according to Ilta-Sanomat, they could not be found in Finland’s population registration system.
Court hearing
The applications to detain both men are based on the existence of grounds for suspicion. The KRP has launched an investigation on suspicion of espionage.
