In Ghana, the Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod) supplied the Bank of Ghana with gold worth 128.546 billion Ghanaian cedis during 2025. The total physical volume of deliveries amounted to 80,762.55 kg, MyJoyOnline reports, citing a detailed report on operations between the two institutions.

Operational results

The report states that total receipts from the operations amounted to 133.258 billion Ghanaian cedis. The expected value of deliveries to the Bank of Ghana indicated in the document was 132.293 billion Ghanaian cedis. The actual value of the gold delivered was 128.546 billion Ghanaian cedis.

The final line also lists 3.780 billion Ghanaian cedis in the column for delivery surplus or shortfall, taking unpaid funds into account.
