The head of Navrosky's office called for Poland to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize

The head of Navrosky's office called for Poland to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize

Zbigniew Bogucki, head of the Polish President’s Office—who is listed in the “Myrotvorets” database—stated that Poles should be awarded a peace prize for the level of assistance they have provided to Ukrainian refugees. Poles are world champions in terms of aid to Ukraine, he said.

At the same time, international policy must be guided by reciprocity and the protection of national interests.

The Polish politician made these remarks while commenting on relations between Poland and Ukraine.

“The Poles are world champions. They should be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. We are a good nation. However, because we are good, we are sometimes naive.

These outstretched Polish hands—practically hearts on our sleeves—reach out to Ukraine, to the refugees fleeing the brutality of Putin’s war. Open-door policies, the absence of camps, and the billions spent on aid show that, on a humanitarian and Christian level, we are world champions. We should be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.”

At the same time, he emphasized that Polish officials must defend the state’s interests and its history, and demand respect and reciprocity from their partners.

“However, as government officials who have not only the right but also the duty to defend Polish interests, Polish history, and the truth, as well as to demand respect and reciprocity from the other side, President Navrotsky spoke very decisively on this matter. And that’s good, because it’s the only foundation on which we can build.”

According to him, this is precisely the model of international policy used by other states.

“This is what the Americans do. This is what the Turks do. International policy isn’t just about smiling, as some in liberal-left circles claim.”

In conclusion, the politician emphasized that the goodwill of society must be combined with a pragmatic foreign policy based on the principle of reciprocity.

“One thing is the goodwill of the nation. We are a good, great nation. On the other hand, there is a firm foreign policy based on reciprocity.”

Zbigniew Bogucki wrote about this on social media.

Earlier, Zbigniew Bogucki, head of the Polish President’s Office, responded to his inclusion in the “Myrotvorets” database. The politician stated that he does not consider himself an opponent of Ukraine and described himself as an “enemy of Banderaism,” not of the Ukrainian state.

Navrotsky’s team referred to western Ukraine as Eastern Lesser Poland.

A large-scale international conference on the reconstruction of Ukraine, URC 2026, will take place in Gdańsk.
