Iran receives ceasefire overtures from multiple countries
Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Garibabadi announced that several countries, including China, Russia, and France, have contacted Tehran regarding a ceasefire. Iran stated that its primary condition for halting hostilities is the cessation of any further aggression.
At the same time, several senior Israeli officials are reportedly discussing potential de-escalation scenarios with Iran privately, concerned that a prolonged conflict could cause massive destruction. Former U.S. President Donald Trump said in an interview with CBS News that the war against Iran is “almost over” and also spoke with Vladimir Putin, who shared his views on resolving the conflict.
This development points to ongoing diplomatic efforts to find peaceful resolutions, aiming to prevent further escalation and extensive damage in the region.
