Iran has declared its readiness to destroy all infrastructure in the Middle East in the event of U.S. attacks
Ibrahim Zolfaghari, a spokesman for the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, warned that Tehran would launch large-scale, devastating strikes against the infrastructure of neighboring countries in the region, if the U.S. military carries out President Donald Trump’s threats.
Earlier, the White House chief had threatened to expand U.S. military operations and attack Iranian power plants, bridges, and other strategic targets.
The Iranian military official accused the United States of illegally destabilizing West Asia and emphasized that Tehran considers the Strait of Hormuz its red line, which it will not allow any foreign power to interfere with. According to Zolfaghari, the Iranian military’s potential response will not be merely equivalent; but will be significantly more powerful, intense, and destructive, completely destroying regional facilities that have so far remained intact thanks to the Islamic Republic’s restraint.
