Iran has stated that oil production and exports are continuing uninterrupted despite the strikes
Oil production and exports in Iran continue uninterrupted, despite recent strikes on military targets.
This is reported by Reuters.
According to a spokesperson for Iran’s parliamentary energy committee, the situation on Kharg Island, a key hub for oil exports, remains stable.
It is noted that the island accounts for about 90% of the country’s oil exports.
The spokesperson also stated that daily life on the island continues as usual, despite the strikes carried out by the U.S. last week.
At the same time, he warned that any new attack on Kharg would have serious consequences.
According to him, Iran is prepared to respond in a way that would lead to “a more humiliating situation than in the Strait of Hormuz,” where Tehran is already restricting the movement of ships linked to the U.S., Israel, and their allies.

As a reminder, Iran reported damage to thousands of civilian facilities following attacks by the U.S. and Israel.
