Israel reinforces forces in the West Bank to 25 battalions — Jerusalem Post
In Israel, the Israel Defense Forces have reinforced their deployment in the West Bank to about 25 battalions amid rising tensions and clashes between Israelis and Palestinians. A division headquarters responsible for the Judea and Etzion regional brigades has also been deployed in the area. This was reported by The Jerusalem Post.
According to a military source in Central Command, the military, Border Police and Israel Police have increased their presence on roads, tourist routes, at potential flashpoints and in populated areas. The command said tensions were being felt on the ground, while the situation was assessed several times during the day and updates were sent to headquarters.
Fears of escalation
Military officials consider the situation in the region unstable. One of them told Walla that an escalation could be triggered by an incident between Palestinians and Israelis that gets out of control, is captured on video and intensifies the situation. The IDF intends to respond more quickly to such cases, including involving police in certain situations and collecting evidence when necessary.
A security official also reported on preventive operations conducted over the past month by the IDF, Israel's Shin Bet General Security Service and police. According to him, they included detaining suspects of incitement, conducting warning talks and more actively detaining people wanted for questioning in areas of violence.

Reports of incidents in villages
According to the outlet, incidents involving ultra-right-wing Israeli activists were recorded in the West Bank over the weekend. There were reports of property damage, cars being set on fire and Hebrew graffiti in Palestinian communities, including Attara, Rantis and Abu Falah.
In the village of al-Mughayyir, settlers entered the area, saying they were grazing sheep. Reports later emerged that masked people smashed the windows of cars and houses. On Saturday evening, clashes took place there between Israelis and Palestinians, and after Border Police arrived, also between law enforcement officers and Israelis who refused to leave the site.
Palestinians claimed that on Sunday several Israelis attacked the Naif al-Kaabneh community in the Ramallah area, east of Taybeh. They said the attackers smashed the windows of homes and cars and stole 3,000 Israeli shekels.
