Israeli SpearUAV ready to deliver nearly 1,000 Viper 300 loitering munitions
Israeli defense technology company SpearUAV, based in Tel Aviv, said it has nearly 1,000 Viper 300 loitering munitions ready for delivery to customers in various countries. This was reported by The Jerusalem Post, citing a company post on LinkedIn.
SpearUAV did not disclose the end users of the systems or the contracts under which deliveries are planned. In the post, the company also said it produces hundreds of systems per month and has a growing international customer base.
Viper 300 specifications
According to the developer, the Viper 300 is a loitering munition that uses artificial intelligence technologies. The system was developed for armored units, specialized ground forces, and tactical groups. Its intended uses include reconnaissance, surveillance, asymmetric operations, border protection, homeland security, and striking important targets.

The system weighs 2.8 kilograms together with its container and payload. The munition can be folded into a capsule or carried in a backpack, and launched while on foot or from a platform. The stated operational range of the Viper 300 is five kilometers, and its flight endurance is 20 minutes.
Claimed capabilities and system lineup
According to SpearUAV, the drone's design enables it to hover in place, while artificial intelligence tools are intended to provide rapid target detection for precise strikes. The company also states that operators can master the system after brief training.
The Viper 300 is part of SpearUAV's lineup, which includes the Viper 750 for maritime use and the Viper 1, designed to intercept rather than strike targets. According to The Jerusalem Post, the Viper 300 was developed taking into account experience from various combat zones, including the war in Ukraine. In June, SpearUAV and Rafael announced cooperation on the compact Iron Wasp interceptor, which can be launched from combat vehicles.
