Israeli attacks in Gaza Strip kill five Palestinians, including two children
Five Palestinians, including two children, were killed in the Gaza Strip as a result of Israeli attacks over the past 24 hours. Anadolu Agency reported this, citing medical sources.
Attacks in Deir al-Balah and Gaza City
According to medics, Israeli artillery struck a classroom housing displaced Palestinians in Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip. A seven-year-old child was killed.
In the Rimal neighborhood of Gaza City, Israeli forces attacked Palestinians, killing two people. Another drone strike hit a civilian vehicle in Gaza City, killing Palestinian Youssef Aqila and his nine-year-old daughter Wafaa.
Wafaa had started the new school year that day. After the attack, photographs circulated showing her schoolbooks and supplies scattered at the scene.
Injuries and destruction
Several people were injured in separate Israeli attacks in the Tuffah neighborhood of Gaza City and the Shati refugee camp west of the city. Four injured people were taken to the Al-Shifa Medical Complex.

At dawn, Israeli aircraft carried out two strikes on an evacuated commercial building near the “yellow line” in the Tuffah neighborhood. The former As-Sahra commercial complex was destroyed. According to medical sources, nine people were injured, including neighborhood residents and displaced persons who were nearby.
According to Anadolu, Israeli reconnaissance drones also flew intensively at low altitude over a significant part of the western Gaza Strip.

According to the agency, these attacks were another violation of the ceasefire agreement in force in the Gaza Strip since October 10, 2025. According to the latest data from Gaza’s Ministry of Health, 1,344 Palestinians have been killed and another 4,464 injured as a result of violations of the agreement.
Anadolu also reports that since the start of the war, the Israeli army has killed more than 73,000 Palestinians, while more than 174,000 people have been injured.
