Kazakhstan is preparing to supply Russia with approximately 50,000 metric tonsof AI-92 and AI-95 gasoline in July and August as part of humanitarian aid. Reuters reported this, citing four industry sources.
According to them, the fuel is scheduled to be shipped from the Pavlodar Oil Refinery and the Kondensat Oil Refinery. At the same time, Kazakhstan has reacted with little enthusiasm to the Kremlin’s request, as Russia faces a gasoline shortage in its domestic market. It is noted that such shipments could affect the domestic fuel balance and also pose risks due to sanctions restrictions when conducting transactions with Russian buyers.
