Kazakh researcher calls China studies a bridge between China and the world
ECNS reports that in China, Kazakh researcher Adil Kaukenov spoke at the second Belt and Road Forum on People-to-People Bonds about his own observations of changes in trade and education in Kazakhstan and China. According to him, these changes are linked to the Belt and Road Initiative. Kaukenov heads Kazakhstan’s Belt and Road Research and Education Center.
He is also an honorary research fellow at the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Students from Kazakhstan
Kaukenov recalled his student years in Shandong Province. According to him, at that time he was the only student from Kazakhstan in the province. Now, the researcher noted, students from Kazakhstan study in almost every province of China.

Kaukenov added that China studies has become a bridge between China and other countries of the world. His speech at the forum concerned the development of contacts between the two countries in education, trade, and other areas.
