Hackers attacked three British airports and gained access to passenger data
A cyber incident occurred at Manchester, London-Stansted, and East Midlands airports, which are part of the Manchester Airport Group.
The attackers gained access to the data of approximately 8.7 million customers.
The compromised information includes email addresses, phone numbers, ZIP codes, vehicle information, and booking details for parking, lounge access, and fast-track security services. According to the operator, banking and payment data were not compromised.
MAG stated that airport operations and flight safety were not disrupted, and the risk has already been contained.
