Hamas says it is ready for Gaza roadmap — Jerusalem Post

In Israel, Hamas said it was ready to implement the Board of Peace’s roadmap for the future of the Gaza Strip and a ceasefire. Hamas claims that obstacles to implementing the agreements arise solely from Israel.

Statement by a Hamas representative

Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem accused Israel of escalating aggression against Gaza residents. He also said that the Board of Peace and its director-general, Nikolay Mladenov, had failed to stop the Israeli government, which, according to Qassem, refuses to implement the agreement.

Technocratic committee and international forces

Qassem called on all parties to facilitate the entry of a technocratic committee into the Gaza Strip so that it could carry out its duties to the territory’s population. He also said that the parties should move on to deploying international forces in accordance with the ceasefire agreement and its roadmap.
