China has stated its readiness to take decisive measures in response to the possible imposition of additional tariffs on Chinese goods by the United States.
The Chinese Foreign Ministry emphasized that accusations of military support for Iran are baseless and untrue.
According to ministry spokesperson Gao Jiakun, China adheres to a prudent policy regarding military exports and exercises strict control in accordance with domestic laws and international obligations.
Beijing stressed that if these accusations are used as a pretext for new tariffs, China will respond.
China criticized U.S. actions to block the Strait of Hormuz and called for the resumption of normal shipping.
China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs responded to reports of possible arms shipments to Iran and the transfer of dual-use technologies.
