China has denied supplying weapons to Iran
The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs has responded to reports of possible arms shipments to Iran and the transfer of dual-use technologies.
The ministry stated that Beijing adheres to a prudent and responsible policy regarding military exports.
According to a spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, China strictly controls exports in accordance with its own laws and international obligations.
Beijing also rejected accusations of supporting Iran, calling them baseless.
The Chinese Foreign Ministry added that it opposes “slander” and “malicious associations” regarding this issue.
The U.S. believes that China may provide Iran with air defense systems. According to intelligence reports, such deliveries may already be in the works.
Iran announced that negotiations with the U.S. have moved to the expert level
The U.S. and Iran have begun negotiations with Pakistan’s participation.
The U.S. announced the start of mine clearance operations in the Strait of Hormuz. At the same time, U.S. warships have passed through the strait for the first time since the start of the war without Iran’s approval.
Negotiations between the US and Iran have begun to move forward. Tehran stated that Washington has allegedly agreed to unfreeze a portion of Iranian assets, but there has been no official confirmation from the American side yet.
