Trump's company plans to sell premium access to posts on Truth Social

U.S. President Donald Trump’s media company plans to introduce paid high-speed access to posts on the social network Truth Social. The service, called Truth PSI, is intended to give Wall Street trading firms and other institutions the ability to receive posts from the platform’s leading authors milliseconds earlier, according to “European Truth,” citing the AP.

According to the company’s plan, receiving updates in real time will allow clients to profit from subsequent fluctuations in stock prices, bond prices, and interest rates. A Truth Social press release states that users of the service will see “the most popular accounts on Truth Social” before anyone else. The company has not disclosed the cost of access for clients.

Donald Trump has the largest audience on the platform—12.9 million followers. Next in terms of follower count are his eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., and the president’s other son, Eric Trump. At the same time, Trump is the largest shareholder of Truth Social’s publicly traded parent company, Trump Media & Technology, so, according to a source, he will benefit directly from the new service.

The Trump family’s company has not commented on whether the new feature benefits from the president’s office. Trump Media & Technology also did not respond to questions sent via email, including whether the president’s posts will be excluded from the paid service.

In recent months, Trump has used Truth Social to announce major decisions and share his own assessments, particularly regarding the war with Iran, tariffs, and the actions of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in American cities. Posts about Iran are significant for investors who fear that rising oil prices could fuel inflation and possibly force the Federal Reserve to raise interest rates.

The new offering comes amid similar paid services on other platforms. Critics, as noted by the AP, believe that a number of deals involving Trump and his family’s company exploit the presidency for profit.
