U.S. lawmakers gave the Russian delegation socks featuring Trump
The Russian delegation and U.S. congressmen exchanged gifts during the meeting, including socks featuring Donald Trump and a commemorative postcard about the “Soyuz–Apollo” space program.
According to Mikhail Delyagin, a representative of the Russian delegation, the American side initially suggested declining the gifts but later presented the Trump socks and a personal badge from Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna.
The Russian side presented “modest” gifts from the embassy, as well as a postcard signed by participants in the joint Soviet-American “Soyuz-Apollo” mission.
The delegation claims that this souvenir sparked interest among the American side.

The U.S. Department of the Treasury removed two Russian citizens, as well as a number of foreign individuals and a company, from its sanctions lists.
The U.S. Department of the Treasury also removed several individuals and entities from the sanctions list who had previously been subject to restrictions due to activities related to Russia. The reasons for this decision are currently being clarified.
