Koretsky Discussed Ukraine's Accession Negotiations with the EU Ambassador
Ukrainian Prime Minister Serhiy Koretskyi met with Katarina Maternová, the European Union’s ambassador to Ukraine. The head of government reported on the meeting on the social media platform X, according to “European Truth.”
According to Koretskyi, he thanked Maternová for the EU’s unwavering support for Ukraine.
“We discussed the opening of the remaining negotiation clusters regarding EU accession, preparations for the coming winter, as well as financial assistance under the Loan to Support Ukraine,” the prime minister noted.
On July 21, Koretsky also spoke with the Prime Minister of Lithuania and thanked him for his consistent support of Ukraine. During his first conversation with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, he discussed further progress in the negotiation process, the upcoming heating season, and countering ballistic strikes by the Russian Federation.
