The King of Britain will visit the United States in late April
King Charles III and the Queen will visit the United States in late April, despite tensions over the situation in the Middle East.
This was announced by Buckingham Palace.
The visit is taking place at the invitation of the U.S. president and on the recommendation of the British government.
The itinerary will focus on the historical ties between the two countries, current bilateral relations, and the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence.
The exact dates of the visit have not yet been announced.
Following the trip to the U.S., the monarch will travel to the Bermuda Islands—this will be his first visit there as king.
