A U.S. aircraft conducted an unusual reconnaissance mission over Russia from Georgian territory
The American specialized reconnaissance aircraft, the Bombardier ARTEMIS II, conducted an extremely unusual flight in Georgian airspace to monitor military facilities belonging to the Russian Federation.
Thanks to this operation, the U.S. military was able to detect activity from enemy communications systems and radar stations in strategically important areas of the Black and Caspian Seas.
This reconnaissance mission caused a significant stir among international military analysts and observers who track aviation movements.
Particular attention was drawn to the fact that the operation was conducted directly from Georgian airspace, despite the current political stance of the government in Tbilisi, which is considered close to Russia.
According to trackers, the aircraft initially patrolled the Black Sea along its usual route, after which it unexpectedly headed further east.
The Bombardier ARTEMIS II’s modern integrated reconnaissance system has an effective range of up to 600 kilometers.
This allowed the crew to freely scan radars and communications equipment on Russian territory, particularly in the Astrakhan and Stavropol regions.
In addition, nearly the entire Caspian region and northern territories of Iran, all the way to the cities of Mahabad and Rasht, came under the scrutiny of American sensors.
Observers emphasize that they have never seen similar aircraft flying so far east compared to their usual missions in the Black Sea region.
Intelligence reports indicate a deterioration of the Russian economy despite external conflicts
As a reminder, U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed that the Strait of Hormuz will remain blocked to Iranian exports until a full-fledged peace agreement is reached.
Ukraine is ready to deploy at least two minesweepers to the international operation to clear the Strait of Hormuz of mines.
The Times reported that Ukraine could send all four of its minesweepers, which are based in Britain, to the Strait of Hormuz.
