Lithuania received a shipment of anti-tank mines worth 3 million euros
Lithuania has replenished its military stockpiles with a new batch of M14 anti-tank mines manufactured by the Estonian company Eesti Arsenal. The ammunition has already been delivered to the country’s military depots.
The purchase is valued at approximately 3 million euros.
Lithuanian Minister of National Defense Robertas Kaunas stated that building up ammunition reserves is an important step toward strengthening the country’s defense capabilities and the security of the entire region.
The Lithuanian Ministry of Defense noted that the mines are designed to destroy or disable armored vehicles, including tanks and infantry fighting vehicles. They are used to block roads, forest trails, and other potential enemy advance routes in order to hinder offensive operations.
