Media report shelling of outskirts of Al-Rafid in southern Syria
According to Anadolu Agency, Israeli forces shelled the outskirts of the town of Al-Rafid in the rural area of Syria's southern Quneitra province. Syrian television channel Syria Alikhbaria reported that six shells were fired at the area. There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
Movement of military vehicles
Earlier, Israeli forces using five military vehicles advanced toward the outskirts of Al-Rafid and later left the area. No detentions were reported during this movement.
The incident occurred amid repeated activity by Israeli forces in the area. On Thursday, they fired two artillery shells near Tal al-Ahmar in the southern part of Quneitra province.

Syria's state news agency SANA reported that on Tuesday Israeli forces detained a shepherd west of Al-Rafid and released him several hours later. Raids, searches, detentions and the establishment of military checkpoints have been reported in southern Syria, including in the provinces of Quneitra and Daraa.
Last month, Israeli aircraft carried out eight strikes on the runway of the Abu al-Duhur military air base in Idlib province in northwestern Syria. According to Anadolu Agency, the strikes damaged the facility's infrastructure.
