Moscow does not rule out meeting of Russian, US and Chinese presidents — Asharq Al-Awsat

In Russia, the aggressor state, the possibility of a trilateral meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin, US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping is not being ruled out. This was stated by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov, Asharq Al-Awsat reports, citing the Russian state agency TASS.

Meeting agenda

According to Ryabkov, the agenda for a potential meeting must be determined before practical preparations can begin. He noted that the main issue is formulating the substance of the talks and understanding what results can be expected from them.

Possible APEC summit

Earlier this month, Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov allowed for the possibility of a meeting between Putin, Trump and Xi Jinping during the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit. The summit is due to take place in November in Shenzhen, China.
