Meloni: It's too early to talk about returning to Russian gas
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni stated that it is currently too early to discuss the possibility of resuming imports of Russian gas.

According to her, despite rising energy prices due to the situation in the Middle East, Europe must proceed cautiously regarding the resumption of cooperation with Russia.
Meloni emphasized that economic pressure on Russia remains a key tool for achieving peace.
She also expressed hope that by 2027, progress will be made in ending the war in Ukraine, which would eliminate the need for such decisions.
The Prime Minister stressed that it is “too early” to talk about a return to Russian gas at this time.
