The spacecraft Artemis II has unveiled its crew menu featuring 189 unique items and more than 70 types of beverages, including coffee, tea, juices, sodas, and milkshakes. This menu aims to support the crew's health and morale during the mission.

The menu features rich plant-based proteins, nuts, and a variety of dishes for breakfasts, main courses, and snacks. So far, crew members have consumed 58% of the menu items this week, indicating their popularity.

The crew requires 43 cups of coffee, underscoring the importance of stimulating drinks in astronauts' diets. Culinary flavorings such as prune, peach, passion fruit, lemon, and nut sauces are included to add variety and pleasure to meals.

Artemis II is NASA's second crewed mission under the Artemis program, focused on lunar exploration and developing new technologies for long-duration space flights.

The menu represents a balanced diet that meets astronauts' nutritional needs while offering taste variety, supporting the success of the space mission.

Future advancements in space nutrition can be expected to further improve crew comfort and efficiency during extended missions.
