In the Bryansk region, an unidentified drone attacked a bus carrying young soccer players from Belarus
In Russia’s Bryansk Oblast, an unidentified drone attacked a bus carrying members of a children’s soccer team from the Belarusian city of Gomel.
The bus was en route to the Russian resort town of Gelendzhik, where the young athletes were headed for a vacation.
According to available information, there were 44 passengers on board at the time of the attack, including 28 children.
As a result of a direct hit or an explosion caused by shrapnel, a woman accompanying the group of young athletes was killed at the scene. Six other people sustained injuries of varying severity, four of whom are teenagers.
Medical services quickly arrived at the scene to provide emergency care to the victims.
