Temperatures in Cyprus to reach 37°C
Mostly clear weather is expected in Cyprus on Wednesday, with air temperatures in the island’s inland areas rising to 37 degrees Celsius. Up to 31 degrees is forecast on the west coast, around 33 degrees on the rest of the coast, and up to 27 degrees in mountainous areas, Cyprus Mail reports.
Wind and sea conditions
At first, the wind will be variable and light, up to 3 on the Beaufort scale. Later, it will become southwesterly to northwesterly and strengthen to 4 Beaufort. In the second half of the day, the wind on the southern coast will temporarily strengthen to 5 Beaufort.
The sea will be slight. In the evening, mostly clear weather will persist, although low cloud cover will occasionally increase in some places.

Forecast for the coming days
At night, temperatures will fall to around 22 degrees inland and on the coast, and to 14 degrees in mountainous areas. The wind will blow from the northwest and northeast, and from the southeast on the northern coast, light, up to 3 on the Beaufort scale. The sea will be calm or slight.
Clear weather will also prevail on the island on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, although cloud cover is expected to increase from time to time. Temperatures will not change significantly on Thursday, while on Friday and Saturday they will gradually rise slightly.
