At Ramstein, a number of countries announced new contributions to the PURL program — Fedorov

 

During a meeting in the "Ramstein" format, several partner countries announced additional contributions to the PURL (Prioritized Ukraine Requirements List) program, which provides for the procurement of U.S. weapons for Ukraine. 

This was announced by Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov.

"Today, there were certain announcements regarding new contributions to the PURL. The PURL remains an important project for us. And today, various countries announced new contributions to the PURL. And I would like to thank them for that," he said at a press conference following the 34th meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine’s Defense (in the "Ramstein" format) in Berlin.

Fedorov noted that Belgium, Norway, Bulgaria, Lithuania, and Estonia announced contributions to the PURL.

The previous meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine’s Defense (in the “Ramstein” format) took place in February in Brussels.

The Ramstein meeting in Berlinfocused on drones and long-range missiles for Ukraine.

The 34th "Ramstein" meeting on support for Ukraine kicked off in Berlin.

Also, U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hagset will again not participate in the meeting of the Ramstein Contact Group on Ukraine’s Defense, instead sending his deputy. 

Additionally, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte will join the meeting of the Ramstein Contact Group on Ukraine’s Defense.
