Russian drones struck a car and a house in the Sumy region; there are injuries
Russian drones attacked civilian targets in the Sumy region, injuring three people. Two of them are in critical condition. The strikes hit a car and a residential building in different communities across the region. The victims were hospitalized, and medical personnel are fighting to save their lives. On April 16, Russian forces attacked the Sumy region with strike drones, targeting civilian vehicles and residential buildings. Three civilians were injured in the attacks, two of whom are in critical condition.
According to Oleg Grigorov, one of the drones struck a civilian vehicle in the Mykolaiv rural community. The driver was injured in the strike—he was hospitalized in serious condition, and doctors are providing the necessary care. “The driver was hospitalized with severe injuries,” the statement noted.
Separately, a Russian drone attacked a residential building in the Buryn community. As a result, two more civilians were injured.
A 53-year-old man with severe injuries was transported to the regional center for further treatment, while a 45-year-old woman was also hospitalized and remains under medical supervision. Rescue and medical services are working at the sites of the strikes to assess the consequences of the attacks. Information regarding the condition of the victims is being updated.
