Taiwan forecasts rain and stronger winds from Thursday — Taipei Times
Taiwan is expecting localized rain in the north and east of the island from Thursday due to strengthening seasonal northeasterly winds. Until and including Wednesday, cloudy weather with clear spells will prevail, while rain is possible in mountainous areas during the day.
Forecast through Wednesday
According to the Taipei Times, Central Weather Administration forecaster Liu Pei-teng said daytime temperatures would not change significantly through Wednesday. Highs will range from 32 to 35°C. Temperatures may be higher in Taipei and inland areas of western Taiwan. Overnight temperatures across the island will range from 23 to 26°C.

Rainfall and lower temperatures
From Thursday through the following Tuesday, stronger northeasterly winds will bring localized rain to areas north of Taoyuan and eastern Taiwan. Afternoon rain is also forecast in the southern part of the island and mountainous areas.
In areas north of Taoyuan and in the east, daytime temperatures will fall to 30–31°C. In other areas, they will remain at 34–35°C. Overnight temperatures across the island are forecast to drop to about 22–24°C.
