Netanyahu Outlined Strict Conditions for Ending the War in Iran

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that a military conflict with Tehran will end only if the Iranian regime is overthrown or forced to abandon its nuclear program.

The Israeli prime minister emphasized that regardless of whether diplomatic agreements are in place, Iran’s nuclear ambitions must be permanently halted. He noted that Iran must realize the cost of its policies, which consist of fostering global chaos, internal repression, and attacks against other states in the region.

In addition, Netanyahu warned Tehran against any attempts to strike Israel, stressing that the response would be extremely decisive, and that any such actions by Iran or its proxy forces would be a “terrible mistake” for them. The prime minister also confirmed his intention to attend the UN General Assembly in New York, which will take place in September.

The Iranian military announced the cessation of its strikes after U.S. forces refrained from launching new attacks for two days.

During the conflict with the U.S. and the subsequent ceasefire, Iran exported oil worth a total of about $18 billion, according to Mohsen Paknejad, the Islamic Republic’s oil minister.
