The U.S. Denies There Is a Shortage of Interceptors Due to the War Against Iran

U.S. Ambassador to the UN Mike Volz assured that the U.S. military has all the necessary resources to conduct a military campaign against Iran. 

The diplomat dismissed as nonsense media reports by officials claiming that the Pentagon is forced to let certain Iranian attacks go unchallenged in order to conserve ammunition, and called for those spreading such information to be held accountable.

At the same time, Woltz noted that the current Trump administration inherited depleted arsenals from the previous administration, in part due to support for Ukraine and the conflict with the Houthis. According to him, military leaders are currently addressing this issue by transitioning to new, less expensive types of ammunition, implementing modern technologies, and conducting a large-scale replenishment of defense stockpiles.

As a reminder, after 13 days of new military strikes against Iran, U.S. President Donald Trump ordered a halt to the attacks.

The Iranian military announced the cessation of its strikes after U.S. forces had not launched any new attacks for two days.

During the conflict with the U.S. and the subsequent ceasefire, Iran exported oil worth a total of approximately $18 billion, according to Mohsen Paknejad, the Islamic Republic’s oil minister.
