An unidentified aircraft violated Moldova's airspace — NewsMaker

On Saturday, September 26, an unidentified aircraft illegally entered Moldovan airspace. The incident occurred amid Russian attacks on Ukrainian territory.

According to the Moldovan Ministry of Defense, surveillance systems detected the object at 11:16 a.m. on Saturday. It entered the country’s airspace from the direction of the village of Stepanivka in the Odesa region.

The object crossed Moldova’s state border in the direction of the town of Novokotovsk in the Transnistrian region of Moldova. Two minutes later, at 11:18 a.m., the object left Moldovan airspace, crossed the border toward the village of Pervomaisk, and continued toward the village of Lyman in the Odesa region.

This was reported by NewsMaker, citing the Moldovan Ministry of Defense.

As a reminder, Russian drones have previously entered the airspace of Romania and Moldova.
