A $167 million lottery winner in the U.S. has been arrested for the fourth time
James Shannon Farting, an American who won the $167.3 million Powerball jackpot in April, was arrested for the fourth time in three months.
The most recent arrest took place on July 26. The man was charged with domestic violence, assault, and causing minor bodily injury to a woman.
According to the investigation, during an argument, he allegedly grabbed the woman by the neck and restricted her breathing. Police reported that the victim had visible marks on her neck, and the incident itself was captured on a surveillance camera.
The court set Farting’s bail at $15,000, ordered him to wear an electronic ankle monitor, and prohibited him from contacting the victim. The man himself has not admitted guilt.
