The Bidens shared family photos with their grandchildren in honor of Father's Day
Former First Lady of the United States Jill Biden posted archival photos with former U.S. President Joe Biden to mark Father’s Day, in which he is pictured with his grandchildren.
“Happy Father’s Day to all fathers, grandfathers, great-grandfathers, and parents who strengthen our families and communities with their love and care. And Joe: an amazing father, grandfather, and great-great-great-great-grandfather, thank you for always leading with your heart,” Jill Biden wrote.
In the photos released, Joe Biden is spending time with his grandchildren: in one photo, a child is sitting on his lap while he holds her with his arms; in another, he is feeding a baby from a bottle. An image of a child’s chalk drawing on the sidewalk with a Father’s Day greeting was also published.
Joe Biden is the father of four children. From his first marriage to Neilia Hunter, he had a son, Beau Biden; a son, Hunter Biden; and a daughter, Naomi Biden, who tragically died in a car accident along with her mother in 1972. His son Beau Biden died of cancer in 2015.
His marriage to Jill Biden produced a daughter, Ashley Biden.
The former U.S. president now has seven grandchildren, including Hunter Biden’s children—Naomi King, Finnegan, Maisie, Nevi Joan, and Beau Biden Jr., as well as the children of the late Beau Biden—Natalie Biden and Robert Hunter Biden II.
The festive posts are part of the Biden family’s traditional celebrations, as they often share archival moments from their lives.
The photos appeared in her Instagram post, where she wished her husband and all the parents and grandparents a happy holiday.
As a reminder, the son of the former White House chief, Hunter Biden, has been appointed to an official position at the prestigious California medical center Peak Path Health.
