Poland to build a drone fleet based on Ukraine's experience — Tusk

Poland plans to build a large fleet of drones, drawing on Ukraine’s combat experience.

This was reported by The Guardian.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated that Warsaw intends to build a “drone armada” using technological advancements that Ukraine has proven in wartime conditions.

According to him, the goal is to enhance the ability to respond quickly to threats and ensure effective protection of airspace.

Tusk emphasized that Ukraine’s experience in confronting Russia is key to shaping a new security system for Poland and Europe.

He added that thanks to these advancements, countries in the region can “leapfrog” an entire technological era and better prepare for modern challenges.

Meanwhile, the EU is also discussing the idea of creating a so-called “drone wall” along its borders to enhance security.

Nine U.S. and Canadian citizens were detained in Poland after illegally entering the grounds of the former Nazi concentration camp Auschwitz-Birkenau.

Poland has decided to cancel a concert by American rapper Kanye West that was scheduled to take place in the city of Chorzów. The decision was prompted by public outcry and scandals surrounding his previous statements related to Nazism and anti-Semitic remarks.
