Former FBI Director Mueller has died: Trump publicly celebrated his death
Former FBI Director and Special Counsel Robert Mueller died on Saturday at the age of 81.

American media outlets also reported Mueller’s death, citing a statement from his family. The cause of death has not been disclosed, although it was previously reported that he suffered from Parkinson’s disease.
U.S. President Donald Trump reacted to the news with a harsh statement on his social media platform Truth Social, expressing joy over Mueller’s death.
Robert Mueller headed the FBI from 2001 to 2013, and in 2017 he was appointed special counsel to investigate Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election and possible contacts with the Trump campaign.
His 22-month investigation culminated in the filing of charges against 34 individuals, including several of Trump’s associates, as well as Russian intelligence operatives and companies. However, Mueller did not bring criminal charges against the president himself.
