In Israel, the country's ambassador to the United States, Yechiel Leiter, said that the life of his son Neria, who was seriously injured when he was struck by a car in the West Bank, remains in danger. At the same time, the diplomat reported encouraging signs in his condition.

As the Jerusalem Post reports, on Sunday Leiter wrote on the social network X: “Neria’s life is still hanging in the balance, but we have seen some encouraging signs and are holding on to them with hope.”

According to the publication, Neria Leiter was struck by a car during an attack in the West Bank on Wednesday. Leiter called his son and his friends heroes who are helping to stand against those who “sow murder and destruction.” He also described this as a struggle for the future of civilization.
