Indonesian president calls on BRICS to create opportunities for people
Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto said at the 18th BRICS summit in New Delhi, India, that the collective strength of the bloc’s member states must translate into tangible opportunities for people. According to him, the bloc’s strength should also be directed toward building a fairer and more equitable international order.

Subianto said that BRICS needs strength that does not remain only on paper but provides real opportunities for people. In the president’s view, this should allow the Global South to have a greater voice in shaping its own future.
