Polish President denies plans to visit Ukraine in the near future

Polish President Karol Nawrocki has no plans to visit Ukraine at this time, but the possibility remains open for the future.

This was announced on Radio ZET by Marcin Przydacz, head of the International Policy Bureau at the Polish President's Office, who noted that the visit could be organised after Kyiv makes the relevant decisions.

According to Przydacz, no specific date for the visit has been set yet, and he also commented on the distrust of some American negotiators in the context of the Ukrainian issue.

Experts from Poland and Ukraine note that the agreement on a meeting between the presidents should be initiated by the Ukrainian side, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky should visit Warsaw for talks.

Many analysts also emphasise the importance of relations between the two countries in the context of Russian aggression and the need to establish bilateral communications. Earlier, during a visit to Bratislava, Nawrocki confirmed the importance of supporting Ukraine, but at the same time stressed the need to defend Poland's interests.

Polish President Karol Nawrocki announced the signing of a new law regulating aid to Ukrainian refugees, which has been in force for a year.
