President Zelenskyy arrives in Oslo for talks with Norway’s prime minister — Anadolu Agency
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Oslo, Norway, together with First Lady Olena Zelenska, where he plans to hold talks with the country’s Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre. This was reported by Anadolu Agency, citing a statement by the president on Telegram.
Issues of support for Ukraine
According to Zelenskyy, the meeting with Støre will focus on continued support for Ukraine, including strengthening air defense and assistance ahead of the winter period. The president also said that he and the Norwegian prime minister are to meet with representatives of companies involved in developing the Freja antiballistic system.
Defense cooperation
Ukraine and Norway signed a strategic partnership and a defense cooperation agreement in August. It covers defense, energy and resilience, including cooperation in air defense and drone technologies.

In July, Norway announced the allocation of an additional 3 billion Norwegian kroner, or about $300 million, for Ukrainian air defense. The country also said it was working with Germany and Canada to purchase additional Patriot missiles from the United States.
Zelenskyy said that the following day, together with Olena Zelenska, he would attend a farewell ceremony for King Harald V and express gratitude to Norway on behalf of the Ukrainian people.
