Pro-Iranian group attacks Baghdad military base using drones
The pro-Iranian movement "Islamic Resistance in Iraq" Saraya Awliya al-Dam announced the launch of a drone attack on the "Victoria" military base located at Baghdad International Airport. The operation was carried out "in fulfillment of our religious duty, in retaliation for Leader Khamenei and in support of the Islamic Republic," the group stated.
The statement highlights that the attack was executed by the group’s mujahideen utilizing a squadron of drones targeting the Victoria base. This regional action reflects the group’s ideological and political alignment with Iran.
