PTI says Imran Khan’s sister was abducted in Lahore — Dawn
In Lahore, Pakistan, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party said that Aleema Khanum, the sister of party founder Imran Khan, was “abducted” near her home. Dawn reports. Imran Khan is the founder of PTI and the party’s imprisoned leader.

In a post on social media platform X, PTI said that Aleema Khanum was taken away near her home. The party placed responsibility on the government and its “custodians,” calling them illegitimate. These assessments are PTI’s position, published on the social network.

Party representative’s demand
PTI Central Secretary for Information Sheikh Waqas Akram also reported the incident on X. He demanded that Aleema Khanum be brought before a court immediately. According to him, she is being punished because she speaks out in support of her brother.
