Russia has put up for sale the assets of Yevgeny Chernyak's Global Spirits holding company
The Russian State Property Management Agency has put up for auction the assets of the Global Spirits alcohol holding company, founded by Ukrainian businessman Yevgen Chernyak.
Up for auction are 84.6% of the shares in JSC “Feodosia Cognac and Wine Plant,” as well as 100% stakes in a number of companies, including the “Novy Urovny,” “Crimean Wine House,” "Rodnik and K," "Russian North," and the distribution company "Standard of Quality."
The initial value of the assets is 7.8 billion rubles. The auction is scheduled for June 17.
As the publication notes, these assets have been under the management of Rosimaya since mid-2024. In June of that year, the Leninsky District Court of Kursk granted the Russian Prosecutor General’s Office’s request to transfer assets associated with Global Spirits to state ownership.
Following the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Global Spirits revoked its licenses for the production and distribution of its products on the Russian market.
Subsequently, Alexander Bespalov became the owner of the group’s Russian enterprises. Prior to that, they belonged to Yevgeny Chernyak.
In May 2026, a Moscow court sentenced Chernyak in absentia to 14 years in prison on charges of “financing terrorism.” Earlier, in February 2025, Russian law enforcement authorities placed the Ukrainian businessman on an international wanted list.
In Russia, Global Spirits companies produced alcoholic beverages under the brands “Khortytsia,” “Morosha,” and “Pervak.”

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that Moscow is allegedly ready for negotiations to end the war against Ukraine, but sees no willingness for dialogue on the Ukrainian side.
Putin is not changing course and continues to finance the war.
